Cultivate young people's scientific imagination, innovative spirit and practical ability to meet the challenges of the future world.
Guide young people to participate in research and invention and scientific inquiry from an early age, and cultivate interdisciplinary knowledge application and manual brain skills.
Provide young people with an opportunity to demonstrate creative thinking and innovative design.
Encourage and commend schools, teachers or students that actively promote STEAM education, and contestants who have performed well in technological innovation.
Outstanding winners may have the opportunity to be recommended for national science competitions such as the "China Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Contest (CASTIC)" and the "Soong Ching Ling Children's Invention Award".

獎金
「科學幻想畫」和「研究及發明」的一等獎、二等獎、三等獎均設有獎金。
本屆將從比賽的獲獎項目中甄選一名具科學家潛質的高中學生,並頒發港幣10,000元獎金作鼓勵。
