Since its launch in 1997, the “Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition” is now the largest and most popular science competition in Hong Kong with nearly 4,000 applicants from over 400 schools participating in this annual event. The competition targets on kindergarten, primary and secondary school students and teachers, with categories including Science Fiction Drawing, Invention, Research, OutstandingSTEM Activity, Outstanding STEM Teacher and Outstanding STEM School.

Kindergarten students, primary and secondary school students, teachers, lab technicians and teaching assistants

In the event of students or teams representing Hong Kong in national or international competitions organised or co-organised by the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association and attaining awards, the information of the award received (e.g. First, Second or Third place or other notable awards) and of the students, such as name, class level and name of school, will be uploaded to the “Education Bureau Data Bank of Hong Kong High Achieving Students” of the Young Achievers’ Gallery (YAG) for public viewing after verification.
