幼兒科學幻想畫 一等獎 宇宙無限

長大後,我希望做太空人,能駕駛七彩的太空船,帶領全家去我最喜愛的木星,暢遊銀河系的美麗星河,探索無限宇宙的奇妙世界。


小學科學幻想畫 一等獎 太陽能轉換站

我設計了一個新的太陽能轉換站,相比那些在地球建立的太陽能發電站,它較小受到籌建面積的影響,且能直接吸收太陽能,並把其轉化為能源,以供地球使用。


中學科學幻想畫 一等獎 「翻生」再做機

「翻生再做機」能把死去的生物復活,讓科學家、考古學家作進一步的研究之用;此外,機器頂部能把廚餘、垃圾等再造成食物,以緩解環境的壓力及因缺乏糧食產生的問題。


小學發明品 一等獎 節能煲水好保寶

本研究以七種不同的煲水方法,找出在不同的時間下所需要的煤氣使用量,從而得出最節省燃料的煲水方法。經過多種不同實驗,最終發現使用闊身生鐵鑊,以小火來煲水是最節省煤氣的;若在煲水期間同時攪拌,效果會更好。


小學論文 一等獎 風扇升呢有辦法

本作品利用被視為垃圾的柑橘皮,運用它們的果膠自製環保冰。因柑橘皮中果膠含豐富的天然高份子聚合物,果膠環保冰的效果可媲美市面的製冷器。把自製冰放在風扇後面,送出來的風會很涼快,既可減少使用冷氣,又不用額外買製冷器,是省電、省錢、省資源的好方法。


物理及工程(初中) 一等獎 吸啜新世紀之雙頭奶樽

本奶瓶為雙頭設計,均可拆開方便清洗;瓶身附有可隨使用者習慣而改變位置的溫度計,能準確顯示37℃的標準奶溫;奶瓶底部的小孔令空氣由底部進入,使瓶內外壓力一致,一面出一面入的設計,為最符合流體工程學的設計,較現時的設計更優勝。


物理及工程(高中) 一等獎 聰明介子 — 生命懸於一片介子

本研究旨在發明一款可重複使用的介子,以降低因螺絲鬆脫而導致的嚴重意外。本發明品的運作原理是,一旦螺絲或絲帽稍有鬆脫,介子下層部份便會彈出,作出警示,從而提醒使用者維修,減低意外的發生。


化學及材料(初中) 一等獎 生物聚合物之可塑性

是次研究利用日常家居當中不同的材料製成生物可降解塑膠並進行各種測試,比較它們於各方面的不同之處。簡易生物可降解塑膠的製作方法簡單,材料容易購買,適合在家中製作。經過多番研究,發現木薯粉混合糯米粉能夠製作較堅韌、耐水性強的塑膠。


化學及材料(高中) 二等獎 Do Herbs that are Pungent by nature act as effective antimicrobial?

People nowadays are going back to traditions and learning natural home remedies to alleviate commonplace ailments. The recurring commonality between all the home remedies is that they are usually comprised of one or more pungent herb (i.e. chili, garlic, ginger, etc.) This investigation is based on such premise, and through experiments, surveys and research, this paper will look into the relationship between an herb’s pungency and its ability to inhibit microbial. The findings reveal that there may be a general correlation between pungency and antimicrobial prosperity in commonly used herbs.

Making ethyl ethanoate and test its combustion performance Compare it with other existing common fuels such as wax and state Its advantages, thus suggest an application of ethyl ethanoate. Also, the portion and amount of its Constituent are investigated to achieve the best Combustion performance.


生物及健康(初中) 一等獎 酸鹼度如何影響益力多活性乳酸菌之生長

我們模擬人體消化道之酸鹼度,著力研究酸鹼度如何影響益力多活性乳酸菌之生長,及在酸鹼刺激下活性乳酸菌能否有效抑制高劑量大腸桿菌、金黃葡萄球菌及藤黃微球菌之生長,繼而評估益力多活性乳酸菌於人體消化道之抗菌效能。


生物及健康(高中) 一等獎 魚的學習

本研究旨在觀察人類經常飼養的觀賞魚是否具有學習能力。實驗設計了一個迷宮,在出路位置放進魚糧,並以顏色標記迷宮的出路,又嘗試對調正確的通道及錯誤的通道,藉以測試魚是否能夠依顏色找到出口進食。結果發現魚會隨著測試次數而熟悉進食的通道,證明魚是具有學習能力。


能源及環境科學(初中) 一等獎 廚餘吸'鉛'法

Toxic lead ions are commonly found in the effluent discharged from factories. In this project, 6 different types of food wastes were tested for their efficiency in removing lead ions from different concentrations of lead nitrate solution. The efficiency in adsorbing lead ions for each type of biomass after repeated use were also tested by washing the biomass with 0.1M HCl and deionized water. Shrimp shell showed 100% efficient for all concentrations of lead solution used, followed by fish scale and chestnut shell. Both shrimp shell and fish shell maintained high adsorption efficiency after repeated use for 3 times. Besides, the adsorption performance of sugarcane bagasse was greatly enhanced after washed with dilute acid.


能源及環境科學(高中) 一等獎 Ideal Microbial Fuel Cell

Biological energy is a one of the promising alternative energies in the future. This project attempts to prepare our ideal microbial fuel cell (MFC) and optimize the performance of MFC by modifying its intrinsic factors (pH environment, fuel-microbe composition) and extrinsic factor (structure of electrode and internal structure of MFC). Finally, we are incorporating of two biological processes - respiration and photosynthesis to develop a photosynthetic microbial fuel cell (PMFC). From the experimental result, it is found that the performances of MFC are related to the acidity of the anodic solution and microbe (yeast) concentration. It shows the highest and most steady cell e.m.f. can be developed when the pH of the anodic solution is 7 with 0.0375g/cm3 of yeast. Besides using glucose solution as the energy source, other domestic food waste (e.g. rice, banana) can be used directly to generate energy electricity. Moreover, e.m.f. of MFC can be further enhanced when the porous, high-surface-area, conductive pyrrole-graphite electrodes are used. We believe that the fibrous texture, polar properties and conducting properties of polypro-graphite composite can facilitate the electrons migration between donor and receptors. A greener PMFC was designed and demonstrated. PMFC shows positive results (0.70 V) in the light response experiment and the dark response experiment. In the other words, MFC fully utilizing biology processes were successfully developed. Lastly, thin-layered structure design (with 0.5 mm total thickness) can be adopted in design of MFC. The steady power density of thin-layered MFC was 123.4 W m3. It is believed that 3D electrode configuration design facilitates internal microbial colonization and electrons transfer.

在量角器幫助下,繪畫正多邊形是一件容易的事。在這報告中,我們嘗試在沒有量角器的幫助下,只用尺規來繪畫正多邊形:3X2n邊形、正4X2n邊形和正5X2n邊形。繪畫方法包括:「垂直平分線繪畫法」、「三分角繪畫法」、「角平分線繪畫法」等等,藉此量度圖形的角度,繪畫不同的多邊形。


電腦及資訊科技(高中) 一等獎 智能托兒系統

智慧托兒系統具有以下多種功能,包括托兒功能,幫助記錄用戶資料;接兒功能,運用智慧卡、確認數字及照片作身份確認;代接功能,運用智慧卡,確認數字作身份確認;提示功能,發出SMS提示家長接兒數據庫查詢,找尋用戶資料;易燃氣體感測,有效防止火災。


學會科技實踐活動 一等獎 Food Science Series

In order to promote science to students, the Science Club of our school organized a “Food Science Series” to relate science to our daily lives - food.
In this “Food Science series”, a wide range of activities were held to promote balanced diet, molecular gastronomy and food test. These activities included a visit to “food science” exhibition, a creative demonstration to guests at school (to foster adolescents’ creativity and innovation), two workshops on food test and molecular gastronomy as well as video broadcasts about food science through Campus TV. Some hands-on experiments of molecular gastronomy will be introduced to the public during school open day in May.


教師教具發明 二等獎 多用途光源箱

本作品是以超光LED作為光源並以電池驅動,免除了舊款的光源儀器需要電線並由插座或由低壓電源供應箱供電。普通的碳性電池也可以使用10小時以上。只需加上不同的配件,它便可以代替以往的強力光源(Compact light source)、光線箱(Ray box)及燈箱(Lamp housing)。


教師教具發明 二等獎 Information gathering and sharing system

本系統嘗試用新方式,以memo tab的概念,於任何位置把發文者想分享的資料作註解及評論,並提供一個快速的方法,把想分享的網頁直接變成截圖及快取,並儲存在系統中供翻查,評註及製作文件之用。


優秀科技教師 二等獎 飄移紙飛機

現時大部分學生的遊戲,以電子為主;然而,舊式玩具優點眾多,兼含教育元素。是次科研目的,是要研發創意的『飄移紙飛機』,以全新的遊戲形式,推廣舊式玩具。

經過老師的引導、自主的參與,同學不但成功實踐科研,發明品獲10/11香港學生科學比賽亞軍。其後,學生向推廣的目標邁進,包括校內推廣;『到校式』及『訪校式』向小學生作科學推廣;在創新科技月2011,進行巡迴路演推廣;獲電視台及報章邀請,接受訪問,將發明品向公眾推廣;或邀到新加坡進行學術交流等等。
