幼兒科學幻想畫 一等獎 回收軍團

回收軍團的綠寶寶負責到各地收集不同物品。它們將物品放入再造隊長的體內,隊長便能把物品分類、清洗、切割及再造。隊長身體內有一個精密的電腦,集合所有再造的程序,可節省空間地產生出一件又一件再造品。

中學科學幻想畫 一等獎 捕夢網

捕夢網是一個可以捕捉夢中的片段的鏡頭。我每天起床都會忘記晚上做的夢,因此只要把它連接到腦袋,偵測刺激訊號,把影像映出來,再由鏡頭拍下。夢中的片段能分享到DreamTube,代替其他社交網站來分享自己的夢 。


小學發明品 一等獎 聰明鑰匙扣

「聰明鑰匙扣」能幫助一些記性不好的人及長者,避免因忘記把鑰匙拿下來,令賊匪有機可乘。若果鑰匙插在門鎖上已超過一定的時間,蜂鳴器就會響起,作出提醒。只要把鑰匙拿下來,蜂鳴器便會停止鳴叫。這個發明的優點是蜂鳴器在待機模式時不會耗電,而且「聰明鑰匙扣」鳴叫的延遲時間可自行調較(1-24秒內)。


小學論文 一等獎 棒棒「冰」

巿面上的冰粒有不同的形狀及設計,究竟哪種設計能於短時間內令飲料降溫呢?哪款冰粒在水中保留時間較長,能持久維持飲料於低溫呢?本研究透過公平實驗測試種形狀的冰粒如長方柱體、立方體、碎冰等,發現長方柱體冰塊具有最佳冷凍效能及持久性。


物理及工程(初中) 一等獎 盲人專利眼 The Magnetic Eye

The invention helps the blind to notice female's or male's washroom in shopping malls or other buildings. The invention contain two parts: a sensor device and a magnetic blind stick. When a blind person walks close to the door with the magnetic stick that where the sensor placed, the sensor detects the magnets inside the blind stick and the microphone on the wall will tell whether this is a female's or male's washroom. The blind can go to the toilet straight away without inconvenience.


物理及工程(高中) 一等獎 Tetrahedral Tic-tac-toe, A new version of Tic-tac-toe

The research aim to carry out a more advanced, comprehensive but easy to follow tic-tac-toe game that is suitable for people of all ages and to analyze the new game deeply and thoroughly.

A new type of tic-tac-toe game built on a tetrahedral shape is created. To account for playability and fairness, two model of tetrahedral tic-tac-toe are made: a ping pong ball model and an A.I. based computer program. After a series of testing, it is concluded that the new tetrahedral tic-tac-toe is indeed a more advance, deep and long lasting game than the original one. 


化學及材料(初中) 二等獎 潮濕天氣無有怕

我透過這科學客觀的研究,找出最有效的天然/環保吸濕物料,也為保護環境出力, 在三次實驗結果中一致得出:報紙較橙皮,咖啡渣,茶葉渣吸濕,其效力(18g)媲美防潮珠(18g),能代替坊間的化學物料. 報紙可放進任何地方吸濕。


化學及材料(初中) 二等獎 Biodegradable Adhesive Tack

天然萬用膠是利用甘油、松油、高筋麵粉及糯米澱粉而成。它的好處是利用天然物料,可生物降解;黏力比市面的萬用膠強100%;價格比市面的便宜16倍。天然萬用膠比較輕,帶有防箘作用亦可在家自行制作。


化學及材料(高中) 一等獎 Metallic Rainbow

The problem of water pollution is getting more serious. The existence of heavy metal ions in water is difficult to be observed, yet sufficient to cause harm to human health. In our project, sixteen ligands were mixed with five heavy metal ions (Cu2+, Ni2+, Co2+, Cr3+ and Fe3+) to form complexes that have much higher colour intensity than aqueous metal ions alone. Calibration curves for complexes were plotted to help deduce heavy metal ion concentration in polluted water. At last, some environmentally friendly ligands (e.g. glycine, MSG) were used in the construction of a handy heavy metal ion test kit.


生物及健康(初中) 一等獎 戒慎乎其所不睹?

「戒慎乎其所不睹」意思是人們對看不到的地方或東西要警戒謹慎。我們以此為題,是由於坊間「五秒定律」的說法引起我們的興趣,故此我們設計了一系列微生物的實驗,希望能為同學們提供有效的科學證據,以反思「五秒定律」的說法是否確實合理。


生物及健康(高中) 一等獎 漁夫之「補」Using carminatives to wipe out gas bubble disease

Gas bubble disease which is caused by supersaturation of dissolved gases in water, can cause great harm. Traditional carminatives such as ginger & activated carbon are carbon-neutral and some could be recycled.
1. Ginger skin showed immediate carminative effect in the Bride Bridge Fall by forcing out 95.5% DO on Day2 without growth of bacterial.
2. Used porcelain (with activated carbon) had a slow (effective on Day3) but lasting carminative effect for two weeks by forcing out 80% of DO without growth of bacteria.
3. Goldfish in supersaturated water (sparkling water) showed gas bubble trauma while the one with ginger did not.


能源及環境科學(初中) 一等獎 A Green Hygroscopic Box

Our group found that the ordinary hygroscopic box not only results you in trouble of cleaning, the disposable product also pollute the environment. Considering these negative impacts, our group would like to look for some natural substances to replace the calcium chloride and make a green hygroscopic box.
In our study, a series of experiment was conducted to test the hygroscopic efficacy and hygroscopic capacity of different natural substances. It was found that some dried food wastes and fruit peels performed satisfactorily in moisture absorption which made them suitable choices to replace the calcium chloride as a desiccant. Besides, inhibition of fungal growth in the hygroscopic substances by table salt was also studied. At the end of the report, a new design of a home-made green hygroscopic bag which is able to remove air moisture quickly was produced.


能源及環境科學(高中) 一等獎 綠導能媒

Dye-sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC) commonly employ expensive, rare and toxic organometallic dyes as light sensitizers for solar energy harnessing. Our team suggested using the economical, abundant and non-toxic natural chlorophyll for substitution, by which 0.73% efficiency, fill factor 46%, JSC 1.6 A/m2, VOC 0.61 V and output 0.98 W/m2 were attained, contributing to a wide application of DSSCs. The major breakthroughs of our investigation are to use natural chlorophyll crude extracts for dye adsorption without any synthetic or chemical modification, and to use hexane for dye extraction and adsorption which outperformed other common solvents like ethanol and acetone.


電腦及資訊科技(初中) 一等獎 流動空氣質素及氣象測量系統

本系統PAWMS提供準確天氣及空氣質素資訊,供有需要人士如:長者長者及長期病患者計劃戶外活動時作出參考。
本系統的主要功能包括:測量天氣數據及空氣質數;計算及顯示酷熱指數;內置網頁伺服器功能,故更有效及便捷的發放數據;並向公眾提出注意事項及建議;具數據記錄功能,可將收集的數據儲存於SD記憶卡中,以便日後作分析之用。


電腦及資訊科技(高中) 一等獎 分‧色

我們的作品目的是幫助色弱及色盲者迅速分辨顏色,從中能提升色盲及色弱者的生活質素,並拉近他們和非色盲人士的差別。作品是一個iOS的應用程式,運用相機捕捉實時影像,並將紅色或綠色區域影像以網狀圖案顯示,手機螢幕會清晰顯示處理後的影像,其中運用了色鍵(類似藍幕的技術)、”OpenGL ES 2.0”及”GPU”的模組來編寫程式。


學會科技實踐活動 一等獎 Green Guru – Fostering Science and Sustainability

Run by a group of students and supported by the school, we aim at promoting students’ motivation in environmental conservation through holding a series of activities to increase students’ interest in Popular Science (科普教育) and let them understand more about the nature and importance of Sustainable Development (可持續發展).
Generally speaking, the activities held could mainly be divided into two types:
(a) the first type aims at exposing the students to the nature more, which includes the signing campaigns, scarab beetles rearing workshop and the horseshoe crab rearing workshop (supported by Ocean Park). These activities could train up the responsibilities of the students towards the environmental conservation and let them experience the fun of Science.
(b) the second type includes Main Roof Visits and Reading Paradise, aiming at cultivating atmosphere of Popular Science in campus so that students are well-equipped with knowledge to support their actions of environmental conservation.


教師教具發明 一等獎 TinyBoy簡易3D打印機

3D打印開始普及於教學上,但現有的3D打印機,價錢昂貴,而且機身尺寸較大,印製速度慢,學生未必能親身使用,局限了學生創意,不利於普及。因此發明一台易於自行製作、尺寸細小的低價3D打印機,適合電腦室內一人一機使用,協助學生發揮創意。


優秀科技教師 二等獎 中一級科學探究校本課程

為了使學生能成功自主地實踐科學探究,本人設計了名為「我是科學家」的科學探究增益活動。活動由三個實驗組成。每個實驗的教學目標,是根據著名的教育家泰勒 (R. Tyler) 所提出有關「行為目標」的概念所訂定。 此外,為了讓學生把所學的技能應用在新的情景中,教育方案採用由布魯納 (J. Bruner) 提出的「發現教學法」:活動重點不在於給學生灌輸知識,而在於學生主動發現科學探究的「結構」,建構相關的技能,以達至學會探究的學習目的。為確保方案的實踐性,方案包含:活動的教學原理、實驗的行為目標、活動所採用的教學法、活動組識、教學計畫、工作紙以及評估方式。
